Your detailed word data is stored locally using IndexedDB:

Browser Local Storage

Basic preferences and cached data are stored in localStorage:

Vocables uses artificial intelligence to provide vocabulary explanations and generate quiz questions. Here's how we handle AI processing:

Data Sent to AI Providers

• Individual words you request definitions for
• Lists of words for quiz generation (without personal identifiers)
• Difficulty level preferences for content generation

AI Provider Partners

We currently work with AI providers including:

• Google AI services (Gemini) via OpenRouter
• Other approved language model providers as backup
• AI providers may change based on performance and availability
